I give gratitude every day that I found yoga.  The practice of meditation, asana, and pranayama has helped me to heal from the inside out, teaching me to forgive, let-go, and love. That's the magic word isn't it? LOVE.  Yoga teaches us to love everyone and ourselves indiscriminate of race, gender and status, and to except everyone as equal, as one.  When I began practicing yoga I had no idea of the pain and suffering I had been enduring in my heart. Until that point, I was blind to it.  But class by class, breath by breath, the layers began to peel away and I began to shine through. The real me, not the illusion of who I was told I was, or should be, or who I even thought I was, but me in my rawest and purest form.  My classes are designed to help us remove the blocks that are keeping us from finding our true selves.  Through sweat, laughter, and maybe even a few tears, we begin to break down barriers that keep us from allowing our true selves to shine through.  I find no two yoga classes are the same.  Everyday we bring something different to the mat, so every class I teach is creatively designed for the energy and the students in the room that day.  I am a Registered Nurse who now heals through yoga and my yoga teachers have been Baron Baptiste, Jonny Kest, Shiva Rea, and many others. Today, I find my best teacher is life, and learning to embrace each and every moment of it! I look forward to joining you on this journey, namaste.
