I am Lisa McBryde and I started practicing yoga in 1995. Funny, but I thought it would not challenge me! I didn't understand the total practice of yoga. It gave me a different perspective on another athletic discipline. I have studied with several master teachers and I know I have so much more to learn. I love yoga because it challenges me in so many ways; both physically and mentally, to be strong yet meek, to be content in the moment, to listen... intently to myself, my inner teacher, to reach beyond what I think is possible. I am a Registered Nurse and have been teaching group fitness for 15 years and feel that I bring that with me as long as I connect to other people. I hold certification from Yoga Fundamentals I and II, Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level and ACE. Come along with me as I encourage my students to push to their ability yet nurture themselves along the way.
