Kim encourages her students to use yoga as a means of experiencing personal acceptance and joy. She began her yoga training in 1997 and taught her first classes at the YMCA in 2006. Erich Schiffman and Doug Keller are the two teachers who have had the greatest influence on Kim's yoga teaching and practice. Kim completed a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification and a Level 2 Certified Yoga Therapist certification through Yoga Alliance in October 2009. Because of her interest in therapeutic yoga, Kim especially enjoys the opportunity to work one-on-one with private clients. Whether teaching a class or private client, Kim's style emphasizes inner awareness and keeping mediatation with the breath.
